The use of artificial
fish heads can save you considerable time and headache. Artificial
heads are simple to use with these easy steps. 1. Measure the fish for the correct body size then measure for the correct head size. |
| 2. Skin the fish on the backside. Peel the skin off the body leaving the head attached for disposal. | ![]() |

3. Fit the head to the body making any adjustments that may be needed. |
| 4. After tanning your fish skin, cover the foam body with hide paste and mount the skin as you normally would. | ![]() |

5. Staple along the collarbone as shown. |
| 6. Slide the head on, covering the staples. Attach the head in position with wires through the eye sockets. Continue to mount the fish as you normally would. | ![]() |
