Artificial Knot Holes The new McKenzie Knotholes are unique base options. Meticulously cast, sculpted and stained to simulate real wood, these hollow bases work exceptionally well for a multitude of small mammals and birds. Constructed of semi-rigid foam, they come with backboards to be attached along with the needed hardware. Wire will penetrate the semi-rigid foam for easy anchoring of mounts. For extra security lock the wire in place with Oatey epoxy putty. The knot holes are offered in three sizes for you to choose exactly the right one for your mount. Woodducks, squirrels, raccoons and more will look right at home mounted on these knothole bases. Add some moss or black lichen to make the look complete.
