The double pedestal mount uses a form from the 6500
whitetail series, slightly altered, and the mule deer
form is from the 6MD series.
This combined piece won "1st Place, Masters
Divisions, Best of Category Game Head at the Michigan
Taxidermy show. I also entered the World Show 2005

"I thought you might like a picture of a recent
mount that took Best of Category in the Master Division
at the 2002 Montana State Show for use on your web page.
I used your new heads down form and was pleased at how
well this deer went together. Thanks for another great
whitetail form. I have only competed for three years
now and have managed to pull off a blue at each show
along with several Best of Categories. I atttribute
a lot of my success to Mckenzie and Joe Meder whitetail
forms."

Brian Drake seems
to like McKenzie forms, and the 6500 series in particular,
which is the basis for this fine example.
"I mounted this
150+ Boone & Crockett buck back in 1997 on a McKenzie
6585 semi-sneak form. This is the original pose with
no alterations to the mannikin.
This fine Ohio Whitetail
buck was found by a customer, after colliding with
his car and brought to my studio for mounting."

I have spoken
to Phil and Mike regarding this delicate project. I just
finished my first Woodcock mount. I used a Ferebee, Woodcock
Body and Tohickon 10mm Brown Eyes, my customer was very
pleased. Again Ferebee comes through for me. The anatomy
of the mannikin was a perfect match to the real deal.
Without the support of the McKenzie staff and the great
products, I would never be able to do the work I am doing.
I am an Amateur Taxidermist, specializing in birds only.
I wonder how many birds I have to do before I can finally
stop calling myself an amateur. With the support and the
products I get from McKenzie, my work is becoming easier
and much, much better. Thanks again.
Please Post My Latest Piece in the "Customer Spotlight"
I want to show other beginners that if you deal with a
great supplier with good technical help, you can achieve
great results. McKenzie provides both of these things.

It's very hard for me to finish a deer head as nice
as the one pictured and have a customer take it out
of my shop. Well, this one didn't leave. My son found
this antler set attached to a skull on a farm in Southern
Iowa. When I got into taxidermy three years ago, I
decided to mount the antlers on a form. I wanted something
that just didn't look good, but was impressive. When
I got your catalog that showed the new 6500 Series,
I knew that I had found the form to use. When I finished
it, I couldn't believe how well it turned out. It
was perfect. Every customer that comes in wants one
just like it.

Dear
McKenzie Supply,
I can't thank you enough, I just finished my first turkey
and it turned out great. Without the help from McKenzie
Supply and Joe Ferebee, I could have never pulled this
off. Your commitment to support your customers with
technical advise and expert material handling is unmatched.
I really want to thank Joe Ferebee personally for helping
me on the phone as well as his first class How-to Video
instructions. I do taxidermy for a hobby, I am learning
by using the video's you provide, my results are better
than I expected and I honestly believe it has everything
to do with the products you sell and the people that
represent your company.
Thanks again,
Jim Angott

I thought you might be interested in taking a look at one of
your bobcat forms. I use McKenzie for most of my work
especially deer and bobcats. I have found them to be
of the highest quality. The accuracy is unmatched and
so is the variety. Most forms I alter, including the
one that I am sending you a picture of, but find the
McKenzie forms easier to deal with again because of
its quality.
Thanks,
Philip, Animal Art Taxidermy

Thank
you for your support of the Utah Taxidermists Association.
Last summer I was honored to receive the McKenzie
Taxidermy Supply Distinguished Service Award from
the UTA. I have used many of your forms and supplies
and find their quality second-to-none. Most of my
personal mounts are mounted on your forms. Included
is a picture of myself and a whitetail I mounted
on one of your 9600 series forms.

Form 6548
(altered)

Dear
McKenzie Supply,
Please find enclosed photos of a whitetail I mounted
on an altered McKenzie 6548 form. I competed with
this deer at the 1996 National Taxidermist Association
Convention. The mount won a 1st place and was awarded
National Champion Whitetail in the open division.
It also won Judges' Best of show at the 1996 Wisconsin
Taxidermist Association's annual competition.
The
mount is titled "Harsh Reality" which
is what all of northern Wisconsin's whitetail face
during the winter months.
I have been using McKenzie forms since the early
1980's. These forms are not only a great choice
for competition mounts, but also for day-in and
day-out commercial work.
Sincerely,
Pat Wagner
