McKenzie is now offering outstanding snake heads and mouth inserts by award-winning sculptor/taxidermist Terry Rheinlander. These Rattlesnake heads offer outstanding detail and anatomical accuracy. Each offers positive set eyes, defined lip line, pit and nostril placement, and allows secure reattachment to the snake form. Availability in five sizes allows you to find the size you need. Easily shaped and fitted to almost any form. The open mouth version offers a foam outer form with a rigid mouth insert. These inserts have a deep throat that requires little or no finish work; just add the fangs and gloss.

The mouth inserts also are sold separately. An advantage of these inserts is that they are adjustable. Submerge them in boiling water for a minute or so and you can adjust the opening width to the shape you desire. Drop them in cold water and the shape is locked in place. They can be shaped to fit most heads easily with a grinder or Dremel tool. Terry developed these heads to simplify the mounting process. Once you try them you will see that his goal was met with these outstanding heads.
