Epo-Grip Seam and Repair Putty Instructions

 

Epo-Grip Seam and Repair Putty offers 5 to 6 hour smooth high tack putty for filling seams and making repairs in taxidermy applications. It can be easily colored using dry coloring tints and smooths out well with water. Excellent for fish seams, rebuilding antler tines, mouth work, jawsets and many other repair applications.


Surface Preparation: Remove dirt, grease, oil, wax, moisture, rust and any loose particles.


Application: Mix thoroughly, equal parts by volume of parts A and B. Initial cure occurs within 3 to 4 hours at room temperature. Average cure requires approximately 24 hours depending on the mass size. The use of heat will accelerate the curing process. Epoxy is inert and safe to touch after cure.


Caution:


Keep Out of Reach of Children


Use adequate ventilation.


Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Wear goggles and protective gloves. Wash with soap and water in case of skin contact. Flush eyes for 15 minutes and see physician.


Note: Application of material is not recommended if ambient temperature is below 50 degrees F.
