WASCO Fish Carding System

The "ideal" fin carding system is one that has been used and taught for many years by taxidermy legend Jim Hall of Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Galvanized Screen Wire Mesh Backing (1/8" x 1/8" screen mesh) is used on the back of the fin to allow air to circulate through for speedy drying. It also may be bent into any desired position for curved or wavy fins. Simply place the wire screen on the back of the fin, the Polysoft Plastic Fin Carding Sheet on the show side, and paper clip together. The system is reusable for hundreds of mounts!

The WASCO Fin Carding System includes a 4 square foot sheet of Polysoft Plastic Fin Carding Material, 144 Jumbo Head Pins, 100 Jumbo Gem Clips, and 3 sq. feet (12" x 36") of 1/8" Galvanized Screen Wire Mesh Backing. It's fast, economical, professional and best of all, reusable (it can be used over and over again on hundreds of mounts!)
