To measure the tanned cape, soak the skin and lay it out flat, hair side down.
Pull the hide to full width (don't overstretch), and measure the width just below the ears.
This measurement will directly correspond to the "B" measurement used to measure forms.
To find the "A" measure, use a tape measure or calipers from the front corner of the eye to the front of the nose. This measure will be close, though measuring the "A" before skinning is the most precise.
