The EDGE Whitetail Deer Manikins Sculpted for Rutting Deer
The seasonal change in the musculature on The Edge manikins is based 100 percent upon anatomical accuracy. All muscle definition is founded in reality, not fanciful styling. Usually in November the Whitetail enters the mating season, or rut. The rutting deer is characterized by the swollen barrel neck, heavy brow, and thick, swollen facial and brisket tissue. Older deer increase their "C" neck measurement more than young deer.
