This is the "original" fish fleshing hand tool designed by fish taxidermy legend Jim Hall. It effectively removes the flesh from fish skin without tearing or stretching the skin. Pull the blade up and down over the flesh side of the fish skin -- not along the length of the fish. Also works great for snakes.
